The deal builds on the pair’s existing motor and non-standard home partnership

Aviva has confirmed a new five-year non-standard motor and van insurance deal with Basildon-based MGA Prestige Underwriting Services.

These personal lines products will be distributed through Prestige Underwriting’s network of 600 brokers and affinity partners.

David Skinn, Aviva’s distribution director, said: “We are delighted to extend our relationship with Prestige Underwriting on the back of our already successful partnership for motor and non-standard home cover.

“This is a great opportunity to further expand our underwriting footprint in the non-standard motor market and continue to drive growth through our personal lines business.”

Expanding its trading footprint

Running until 2026, the latest deal adds non-standard motor insurance underwriting to the pair’s existing motor and non-standard home partnership.

Alison Williams, managing director of Prestige Underwriting, added: “Prestige Underwriting has a strong and established relationship with Aviva in the Northern Ireland motor market and we are currently in the second year of our non-standard home insurance partnership for UK brokers.

“We are absolutely delighted to build on the successes we have achieved together to date and to expand our trading footprint in non-standard motor and van risks in partnership with Aviva.

“As a business, we are excited to re-enter the non-standard motor market with our continually evolving product portfolio.

“We are fully committed to growing our business by continuing to deliver niche solutions to our valued network of brokers and partners as we embark on our extended and expanded partnership with Aviva, the UK’s leading insurer.”
