Insurer is sixth to sign up
NIG has joined the panel of insurers launching new commercial property owners and let property owners policies through PowerPlace software.
NIG joins Zurich, Groupama, Fortis, MMA Insurance and Towergate Underwriting on the panel.
Vivek Banga, head of business development at NIG said: “Our strategy always has been to support brokers in transacting commercial business online and e-trading has become even more important in today's competitive market place. We plan to make more products available throughout the year.”
Mark Armitage, managing director of PowerPlace said: "We’re delighted to welcome NIG onto our panel of insurers which is really starting to take shape. We plan to announce more products and insurers throughout 2009 as PowerPlace is rolled out to a growing user base across the broking community”.
PowerPlace is currently used by over 160 brokers operating off the Open GI platform who now have access to 24 live insurer products.
