In last week's Insurance Times Michael King responded to my comments (Letters, 5 May) about the lack of FSA compliance I faced when seeking a quote for my static caravan.

Like King, I prefer not to see 'name and address withheld' correspondence, but felt in this instance it was justified.

However, I would like to make it clear that I did not accept the quotation given to me despite its obvious competitiveness.

Like most of our own clients I've never subscribed to the 'cheapest is best' school of buying and on this occasion am pleased to report that the bad guys lost out.

I placed my business with another broker which gave me an excellent service, explained the cover professionally and took the trouble to ring me back to check that the cover provided was exactly what I needed.

My faith in the industry has once again been restored.
