Re "Tornado victims uninsured" (News, 4 August)
What "act of God exclusion"? I've been in the insurance industry for 45 years and must have missed this one.
Is it a PR ploy on behalf of insurers, for instance, "we're such grand chaps that we're not going to enforce the exclusion that doesn't appear in our policies".
Unless Mr Bowers has been misquoted it would seem that the catastrophe is in his office.
