New York attorney general Eliot Spitzer and the New York State Insurance Department are close to drafting a civil complaint against AIG, reports said today.
A complaint file date is yet to be set, but reports said it could be filed as early as this week.
According to reports, the complaint stems from the company's alleged improper accounting practices.
