Royal & SunAlliance has estimated its potential liability following the attacks in New York on Tuesday at £150m.
It said its offices in the US were open and staff from its offices in Lower Manhattan had relocated to other group facilities in New Jersey and on Long Island.
One member of staff is still missing.
