With reference to your article, 'Misys set to launch OASys in Roadshows' (14 August, Insurance Times), I would like to make it clear that Misys successfully launched its OASys (Windows) solution over two years ago and now has over 5,500 users.
It is our new OASys Commercial software that will be unveiled for the first time at the roadshows in September.
Where the article refers to the OASys system, it should in fact be referring to OASys Commercial, which allows brokers to electronically transmit commercial risk information to insurers.
It has been developed with the support of a number of the UK's leading insurers and is soon to be piloted.
I would also like to clarify that this is just one of the developments to be highlighted at our roadshows. The major theme is FSA regulation and how technology can help brokers achieve compliance.
