Training specialist Searchlight Solutions is making a library of e-learning modules about the North American insurance and reinsurance markets available through the online learning resource, Tick.
UK-based brokers and underwriters, who deal with companies in the US and Canada, will have access to a library of 25 courses on topics such as workers compensation, regulation, inland marine, commercial auto and professional liability insurance.
Insurance experts and academics have written the courses, which will be updated to include legal, regulatory and other industry developments. All materials are approved for US continual learning accreditation.
Searchlight managing director Ian Jerrum said: “Searchlight already includes a far greater breadth and depth of learning materials than any comparable system. But these North American courses bring a whole new dimension to our learning resources online. They have been developed partly at the suggestion of client companies in the London market; and initial feedback suggests they will be warmly received.
