Open GI has secured a contract to provide software to Norwich-based broker Alan Boswell Group.

Open GI will automate Alan Boswell's delegated schemes, improve its operational efficiency and extend overall web trading capability.

Richard Hartley, IT Manager at Alan Boswell Group, said: “One of the main factors behind our decision to commit to the Open GI platform is the number of new solutions available to brokers. Since the company rebranded there has been a distinct shift in focus and renewed impetus towards product development. Back-office functionality has been enhanced significantly, as has the range of new technologies on offer.

“The Open GI system is clearly the most suited to our needs and the most cost effective on the market today, and will allow us to expand our presence both locally and nationally. We are particularly impressed by the new user interface, open-i, and also the web solutions which will enable us to extend the range of business traded online.”

Simon Hughes, sales and marketing director at Open GI, said: “Alan Boswell's comments are typical of many brokers who have committed to the Open GI platform in recent months. Our new technology is making a huge impact in the market and is encouraging brokers to seriously consider their long term IT strategy. The profile of our customer base continues to shift towards commercial lines and our solutions are more targeted than ever.”
