New platform for commercial brokers
Open GI has launched a software platform for commercial lines brokers trading small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business.
The platform, Open Trader, will allow the broker and underwriter to electronically correspond in real time via a common data exchange.
Chris Guillaume, Open GI’s managing director, said: “Most firms still trade SME business manually using extranet, telephone and email, with little or no standardised approach to data capture. Open Trader fills a gap in the market for a workable, end-to-end solution.”
