Rebranded Wilkinson Rodgers and Tett Hamilton sign up to Broker Network and Willis Commercial Network, respectively

Two broker bosses who bought back their businesses from Oval have completed rebrands and joined networks.

Steve Manning of Wilkinson Rodgers in Huddersfield and Andy Tett of Tett Hamilton in Cleveden bought back the companies they sold to the broking giant following “amicable” negotiations last year.

Tett Hamilton is now trading as AJP Insurance and has becomes the 20th member to join the Broker Network this year. Tett has joined forces with fellow senior executive Derek Martindale and has premium income in excess of £9.5m.

Wilkinson Rodgers is now known as Waterfront Insurance Brokers and has become one of six recent additions to Willis Networks, joining the 85-member strong Willis Commercial Network (WCN).

Other newest members of the WCN are Belfast-based Willis & Company (Insurance Brokers) and North West broker Mitchell Charlesworth Insurance Solutions Ltd.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
