AJP Insurance is network’s 20th this year

Broker Network has added its 20th member of 2010 after signing up Clevedon based AJP Insurance.

The broker’s principal Andrew Tett recently completed the buy-back of his business from Oval having sold his business Tett Hamilton to the broker in 2007 (See story: Oval sells two brokers back to vendors).

It is now trading as AJP Insurance and has joined forces with fellow senior executive Derek Martindale who was formerly principal of Calender Jefferies which was a Broker Network member before the business was sold to Bluefin in 2007.

AJP Insurance has premium income in excess of £9.5m primarily in the commercial space. The brokerage will be led by five business leaders who will work alongside a team of twenty four.
