Graham Wood joins Bermuda team from Gallagher Re.
Oxygen Insurance Brokers, the Lloyd’s accredited London Market insurance intermediary, has announced the expansion of their specialist reinsurance division, Oxygen Re, with the incorporation of Oxygen Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd.
Graham Wood has joined the Oxygen Re team and plans to take up the post of business development and operations manager of Oxygen Insurance (Bermuda). Wood was previously with Benfield and, most recently, team leader of Gallagher Re’s Bermuda operation. He brings a wealth of reinsurance and retrocession experience to further strengthen the existing team of Kevin Conlan, Tony Belisle, Colin Garner and Oliver Moon.
Nigel Barton, chief executive of Oxygen Holdings plc and president of the new company, said: “We launched Oxygen Re two years ago because we felt there was room for an independent broker that focused on products involving specialist reinsurers and collateralised products from institutional capital investors. The impressive client list that the team has built to date has validated that decision.

Oxygen Re caters for all types of non-marine, marine and aviation treaty reinsurance and retrocession covers, on a traditional or structured basis.
