International Insurance Brokers (IIB) director general Andrew Paddick and loyal number two Barbara Bradshaw were gutted when the international brokers' federation conference was called off earlier this year. The Taiwan meet was a victim of SARS and this meant curtains for Bradshaw and Paddick's side trip to Beijing. But just in case any of you are feeling sorry for the poor things, the conference has now been rearranged for Surfers' Paradise on Queensland's Gold Coast in Australia.
