Primary Insurance has introduced a new system from Goldmine to improve its medical assistance service.

Primary said the system would enhance the existing assistance structure and process and would also increase overall speed and efficiency.

It will allow access to global medical information and services and allow the company to store, monitor and pinpoint specific case information.

Joe Valdes, head of Primary's assistance arm, said: “An assistance provider's number one priority at any given time is the safety and the recovery of the insured patient and so it's imperative that speed is of the essence.”

The introduction of the new system is part of an overall upgrade and expansion of Primary's medical and repatriation arm.
