Rubicon will handle the run-off business of Folgate Partnership's motor book, said sources close to the deal.
It is understood that the contract will be split between Rubicon and Folgate, which will handle the rest of the portfolio. This includes commercial and household. The book is worth hundreds of thousands of pounds a year.
Folgate Insurance managing director Chris Garland will take early retirement at the end of the month.
