With risk management high on the insurance industry's agenda it wasn't evident at the International Underwriting Association's (IUA) party last week when journalists had to skip and dodge injury at every turn.
In a season of sporting fun the IUA hired an indoor golf game to entertain the guests.
But the interactive treat encouraged the competitive and slightly inebriated guests to battle it out for the longest drive by battering golf balls against a wall.
If pinging golf balls were not enough to test reactions, those enjoying the delights of the hotel veranda had their dodging skills put to even greater test when a cigarette bin launched from a 10th floor room landed inches away from a stunned group of journalists.
If favourable press copy were the desired outcome, then healthy and bruise-free journalists would have made the job much easier.
