Specialist insurance legal practice Plexus Law, and its sister practice Badhams Law, have been awarded the Law Society's practice management standard, Lexcel.

Plexus and Badhams are both part of Parabis Law.

Lexcel is a quality mark written specifically for the legal profession and overlaps other recognised management quality standards, such as ISO 9000, Investors in People, Chartermark and the Legal Service's Commission Specialist Quality Mark.

The award is open to legal practices who meet all the standards set as assessed by an independent body.

Plexus Law managing partner Tim Oliver said: “This is very good news for Plexus and Badhams. It affirms that we are working to very high standards and compare very favourably to most other legal practices.

“Of course it has internal benefits to us as a company, but most importantly it shows our clients that we are a company that they can trust. In our business, this is essential.”

Parabis Law incorporates Plexus Law and Badhams Law; solicitors Rymills and Cogent, and loss adjuster Argent. The Lexcel accreditation, which lasts for three years subject to annual maintenance visits, applies to Plexus Law and Badhams Law individually.
