Our out-of-breath London Market reporter would like to pant a big “thank you” to everyone who sponsored her recent bid to raise money for cancer.
Yvette Essen took part in the BT Swimathon last Saturday morning, swimming 100 lengths of a 25-metre pool in an hour. Thanks to donations from Aon, Allianz Cornhill, Natwest, Norwich Union and the Royal Bank of Scotland, the exhausted hack has raised more than £600 for Macmillan Cancer Relief, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and The Prostate Cancer Charity.
