A British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) survey has revealed continued widespread dissatisfaction among brokers with insurers' service levels.
The annual survey shows brokers consider only a handful of insurers are performing better in 2000 than last year.
Only 9% of commercial brokers said they were extremely satisfied with the service they received from insurers (14% in 1999).
Only 30% said they were quite satisfied – a drop of 5% on last year.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
