Call Centres Portal and Callflex are merging next month.
The combined company will create up to 3,000 jobs within the next three years across the UK. In addition to its centre in Glasgow, Portal plans to open three centres over the next 12 months in Manchester, Nottingham and the south-east of England.
The new company will retain the Portal name and management team. Portal will appoint two new directors to the board once the merger is completed in September.
Glenn Hurley and John Gotley, both from Portal, will continue in their roles as chairman and chief executive officer respectively.
