Bedford-based RK Harrison is wholesaling its scheme for the printing and imaging industry called PICI.

The scheme is net-rated so that brokers can add their own commission levels.

The one stop package includes automatic cover for artwork and stock at sub-contractors, financial loss cover and optional covers for breach of copyright and confidentiality.

It is recommended by the British Association for Print & Communication and has already insured in excess of 750 commercial printers, digital printers, copy shops, print finishers, packaging and label printers.

In addition, RK Harrison has arranged for Ripon Cathedral to insure its £65m rebuilding programme through Congregational & General.

Insurance for the seventh century building covers the clergy and staff houses in Ripon and support services such as the mason's yard that is used to maintain historic fabric.

C&G Bursar Nigel Clay said: "It was a very thorough process. We wanted to see what was available on the market and our broker produced a shortlist for the Dean and Chapter to review."
