Quinn will not be active in solicitors’ professional indemnity insurance renewal season

Quinn Insurance says it will not be re-entering the Solicitors’ professional indemnity insurance market in England and Wales this year.

The admission comes after it was today revealed that Travelers has reached an exclusive agreement with Quinns former broker, Prime Professions, to offer cover to sole practitioners.

Quinn Insurance, currently in administration, said in a statement: "Quinn Insurance Limited (QIL) confirms that it will not be re-entering the Solicitors’ Professional Indemnity Insurance market in England and Wales this year.

"QIL therefore believes that it is in the best interest of its policyholders to advise them at this point that it will not be in a position to participate in solicitors’ professional indemnity insurance market for the upcoming 2010-2011 renewal period."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
