Personal accident and contingency underwriters leapt at the chance to look over a Formula 1 motor racing car when it made a pit stop at Lloyd's.

The car is similar to the F1 car driven by Jacques Villeneuve who has recently renewed his contract with racing team British American Racing for another three years.

Villeneuve is one of the highest paid drivers on the Formula 1 grid and his personal accident cover is placed at Lloyd's.

The event was organised by Willis, through its links with British American Racing, to whom it provides driver's personal accident, prize indemnity and other racing related insurance.
