Appointment is 'key step in the transformation', says chief
RBS Insurance has appointed Andrew Palmer as a non-executive director.
Palmer’s career includes 21 years with Legal and General, latterly as group finance director.
He is the senior independent director of Segro PLC, and is a member of the Financial Reporting Council’s financial reporting review panel.
Palmer said: “I’m delighted to be joining RBS Insurance as it undertakes a significant transformation programme. The business is undergoing rapid change, and I am looking forward to working with a team facing so many interesting challenges.”
RBS Insurance chief executive Paul Geddes said: “Andrew’s appointment represents a key step in the transformation of RBS Insurance. His extensive experience will be invaluable to us, and I’m delighted to welcome him to the business.”
