Backchat would like to thank Motorist Uninsured Loss Recovery Association (MULRA) for its latest press release, entitled “Brokers are wonderful human beings.”

It reads: “Responsible, altruistic and philanthropic. It must be true, according to professional standards organisation MULRA, as it has the survey results to prove it – and it is the brokers who said so themselves! ‘By interpreting the comments on our recent questionnaire, you can only give brokers top marks', says MULRA chairman Paul Hurley.

“‘It is possible that the prospect of winning the champagne draw may have influenced some entries, but such cynicism conflicts with the overall finding that the vast majority were not in the least interested in commission levels when choosing a ULR provider.'”
