Specialist technology provider Room has reported a 23% increase in turnover to £12.1m at its year end, 31 June 2005.

Commercial director Ameet Dave said the company was ideally positioned to push forward an extensive growth programme within the London market.

He said the company was prepared to accelerate forward to capitalise on its £670,000 pre-tax profit rise.

Chairman Marcus Broome added: "We could reduce the amount of duplication within our customer base and help to change the ways that some brokers are working.

"We are aiming to make it more attractive for global companies to put business through Lloyd's by helping our customers to make their systems more efficient."
