Promotes Paul Middle to global role

Telematics

RSA said it has promoted Paul Middle to the role of global telematics partnering director.

Middle will be responsible for growing RSA’s telematics portfolio globally across both personal and commercial lines in UK & Ireland, Canada and Scandinavia.

Based in the UK, he will report to Kenny Leitch, RSA’s global telematics director.

A 20-year RSA veteran, Middle has been part of the RSA Telematics team since it was created in 2012. He was previously head of telematics partnering.

“In recent years, our telematics portfolio has gone from strength to strength. In the UK alone, premiums have grown by 100% since the beginning of 2014, and in Norway we were the first insurer to launch a telematics app for drivers,” Leitch said.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
