Insurer also promotes Daniel Venner and Ian Bostock

RSA has hired Aviva personal property head Paul Stead as its new home product director.

Stead will join RSA in September.

In addition, RSA has promoted Daniel Venner to the position of motor product director, and Ian Bostock to the position of governance director.

All three will report to RSA product and pricing director Andy Baughan.

Baughan said: “My ambition is to ensure that our underwriting and pricing capabilities across all our products are the best in the industry. Achieving this will ensure we remain competitive in this market and can quickly take advantage of opportunities.

“These appointments will ensure we achieve our ambition, and I’m confident that with Paul, Daniel and Ian on board we will continue to underwrite portfolios that are both profitable and sustainable as well as creating products that benefit our customers.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
