Standard & Poor's sites ERM steps in Aspen outlook revision...
Standard & Poor's has revised its outlook on UK-based Aspen Insurance UK, Aspen Insurance Ltd and Aspen Insurance Holdings (collectively Aspen) to stable from negative.
"The outlook revision reflects enhancements made over the past year to the group's enterprise risk management processes in general and those relating to catastrophe risk in particular," said credit analyst Marcus Rivaldi.
"In addition," he said, "it also reflects the successful transition of the group's underwriting risk profile to one designed to offer much reduced earnings volatility without any discernable negative impact on Aspen's competitive position."
