Boost to broker’s ambitious growth plans

Acquisitive Scottish broker Central Insurance has appointed two non-executive directors.

  • Graeme Manson – a founding partner of Rutherford Manson Dowds (RMD), which he sold to Deloitte in 1999
  • Gillian Hastings – a former corporate partner at Ernst and Young

Central managing director Iain Henry said: “Securing the considerable expertise of Graeme and Gillian will enhance our already strong position in the Scottish market and bring additional focus to our ambitious growth plans.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
