QuestGates and Andrew Merchant Limited have entered into an overflow arrangement.
While the Glasgow loss adjusters will work closely on improving their Scottish liability businesses, they will continue to operate separately otherwise.
QuestGates has also moved its Glasgow office to the city centre.
Its managing director Chris Hall said: “Andy is well known for his technical ability and, by combining his team's expertise with ours, we will greatly increase both the quality and flexibility of QuestGates' resources in Scotland.”
