Rebus IS has launched Slipfile, a completely managed ebusiness service for London underwriters and brokers.

Slipfile is designed to reduce the volumes of paper that are used during the placing cycle of a risk and the management of claims attaching to the risk.

The technology is based on the Worldview information management tool. Slipfile can use the London Market Network Ringmain and the internet.

Rebus said that senior managers were estimated to spend 150 hours a year looking for lost information.

Rebus's sales and marketing director, Gary Lowrey, said: “Paper is both the lifeblood and the bane of the insurance industry.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
