Did NY Fed staff break disclosure laws over AIG secrecy?
Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning wants US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chairman Mary Schapiro to investigate the Federal Reserve Bank of New York asking AIG to withhold information, Bloomberg reports.
“I urge you to investigate the apparent violations of the securities laws regarding AIG disclosures,” including the actions of New York Fed staff, US, he wrote.
