Underwriting agency Select & Protect this week launched Spook, an online household insurance trading facility for financial advisers and brokers.
The system, found at select-proetect.co.uk, allows agents to submit business over the web, without the need for signed proposal forms.
Marketing director James Wallis said: “We have run a successful pilot scheme with several agents over the past eight weeks, and seen a massive increase in new business from them as a result.
“In the first two days since the launch, several hundred agents have registered to use the system.”
Select & Protect sells the bulk of its policies through IFAs and mortgage brokers.
The site includes a quotes facility, automatic saving of incomplete proposal forms and automatic underwriting.
