Met Office warns of freezing daytime temperatures
The Met Office has predicted sleet or snow showers in eastern areas on Wednesday with heavier snow and freezing daytime temperatures on Thursday and Friday.
Met Office chief forecaster, Frank Saunders, said: "Eastern parts of England are expected to see the most snow this week, but places further west could see a little snow too."
Next week will be cold with some very sharp frosts.
