Complex and lengthy passwords for computers do not lead to better security, says computer guru Jakob Nielson.
Nielson believes it just leads to people writing the passwords down, often on post-it notes stuck to their computers.
He recommended simpler passwords that could be remembered by users and pointed out many ecommerce sales were lost because potential customers were deterred by having to enter a unique password.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
