Folgate buys TrinityThe Folgate Partnership has made its 33rd acquisition buying Trinity Insurance Advisers of Halifax. Trinity controls gross written premiums totalling about £10m of commercial and attached personal lines business.

GoSure in web dealTravel insurer GoSure.com has agreed a deal to offer cover to passengers travelling with Air Southwest, a new UK airline. Insurance will be linked through the airline's website.

Bunker replacedCharles Crawford has replaced Phil Bunker as managing director of NIG - as revealed in Insurance Times in December 2003.Bunker will leave the company in March 2004.

New Stargate lines Sirius and Allianz Cornhill have rolled out the next phase of commercial lines product Stargate Commercial. The first products to be made available through Stargate are: Complete Retailer, Complete Office and Complete Liability. The system features include quotation and full policy purchasing facilities with single keying.

Misys FSA moduleMisys will launch a new FSA module, designed to help brokers with compliance issues. The FSA module will assist brokers with a variety of routine compliance procedures including policy documents and complaints procedures.

Biba appointments Steve White and Branko Bjelobaba will join Biba, replacing regulation specialist Chris Arter, who announced his departure in December. White joins from the FSA's high street firms division, while Bjelobaba moves from the role of policy manager at GISC to take up the post.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
