A graduate training scheme, exclusively targeted at the insurance industry will be launched in London to improve personnel skills in the sector.

Introduced in Amsterdam in 1999, Sure Talent takes graduate students with business-relate degrees and trains them in 'hard' and 'soft' skills.

'Hard' skills such as ACII, as well as 'soft' skills like presentations and client handling will be included in the scheme.

During the two years of the project, the trainees are seconded on projects to insurance firms. Either as a solution to a personnel shortage or as part of long-term strategic changes, secondments are open-ended.

The firm has been voted as one of the Netherlands top ten graduate employers. Some of its existing clients include: Swiss Life, Axa, ABN Amro and ING.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
