Price rises expected plus growth in Europe and China
Swiss Re's head of Americas operations Pierre Ozendo told the Property/Casualty Insurance Joint Industry Forum in New York that insurers could see a rise in pricing power.
"We believe we can recapture some solid marketability," in the US and Europe, Ozendo said, according to Dow Lones and Reuters.
Ozendo said Swiss Re is looking for growth in Eastern Europe and Asia, in particular China.
The forum was organised by the Insurance Information Institute
