Lloyd's broker boosts international treaty team

THB’s Lloyd’s broking arm, Thompson Heath & Bond has enhanced its international treaty platform by hiring three senior brokers specialising in the Latin American, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Asia/Pacific territories.

Manuel Yañez, Andrew Brignell and Alexander Price have worked together for 16 years, most recently at RFIB Group, focusing primarily on property and casualty treaties and binders.

They will be based at THB’s London office and, starting with immediate effect, will work within the existing treaty division to develop THB’s portfolio in these key territories.

Thompson Heath & Bond chief executive Steve Matanle said: “THB is delighted to have secured such proven and successful individuals. Together they bring over 70 years’ broking experience within their specific targeted territories.

"We have identified all of these regions as key to our ongoing international expansion, which makes this acquisition a perfect strategic fit for THB.”
