Disaster restoration company Chem-Dry UK has developed a mobile disaster response unit to rush specialist equipment and expertise to disaster hot spots.

The unit will enable staff to use laptop computers and other technology which provides a direct communications link with Chem-Dry's claims processing centre.

The mobile unit will also allow Chem-Dry staff to coordinate on-site technical and administrative queries and accept instructions from insurers, loss adjusters and policyholders.

Chem-Dry said the mobile unit would increase the speed and accuracy of claims management, particularly in the case of multiple claims.

Chem-Dry has more than 30 years' experience in the loss adjusting and claims handling businesses.
