Towergate Professional Indemnity in Manchester has appointed Kathryn Cranney as claims manager.

Cranney has joined from Griffiths & Armour, where she worked for more than 15 years.

She will head up a team of four at Towergate.

TPI managing director Alan Eyre said: “Kathy’s experience in the construction consultancy sector will add significant value to the offering at TPI as we continue to grow within this highly competitive market.

"Kathryn hopes to bring many new ideas to the team and is looking forward to further strengthening our enviable claims reputation.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
