Stolen vehicle recovery specialist Tracker is examining the possibility of creating an electronic homing device specifically for motorcycles.

Tracker currently installs homing devices in cars, caravans and commercial vehicles. Though the device can be adapted for some motorcycles, Tracker does not market a tailored product.

A Tracker spokeswoman confirmed this week that the company was "looking to develop a product specifically for motorcycles". But she added, "There are no firm plans to launch such a product in the near future."

Tracker recovered £35.1m worth of vehicles in 2003.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
