Glass's Information Services has introduced an internet service for motor traders to use WAP mobile phone technology to check out car values and dealer underwriting information.
A vehicle valuation database can now be accessed 24-hours a day at the touch of a button, allowing traders to make informed decisions.
Glass's Mobile gives trade, retail and cost data for vehicles registered between 1992 and 2000.
Customers register, pay a service fee, then tap in the vehicle's manufacturer, model, registration plate and trim level to get a valuation.
They can also search a database of more than 750 underwriters to find potential purchasers.
