Lloyd's broker boosts P&C division

Lloyd's broker Tysers has appointed three fromer Carvill brokers to its property and casualty divisions. Robin Barker-Hahlo and Andrew Smallshaw have been appointed as directors and David Edwards as account manager.

The trio specialise in treaty reinsurance, London market facilities and binders.

Henrietta Butcher, managing director of Tysers' property and casualty division, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to move so quickly to employ these talented individuals and we are very excited by what Robin, Andrew and David can bring to Tysers and our clients - all three bring a wealth of experience and have been hired to help expand our Non-Marine operations by bringing attractive new business opportunities.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
