Philip Levers joins UIB

United Insurance Brokers (UIB) has appointed Philip Levers as divisional director.

Levers joins UIB from Gibbs Hartley Cooper.

Andrew Little, marine managing director at UIB, said: "Philip joining UIB very much fulfils our desire to attract first class market individuals both in London and overseas. His international production experience will complement our growing cargo team and support our drive to build on the success of the existing marine portfolio."

Levers said: "This is a very exciting move into a top class company which is extremely clear and focused on what it wants to achieve."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
