The British Olympic team has bought insurance cover for the Winter Olympic Games starting next month.
Insurance Times revealed that as late as October the British Olympic Association (BOA) was still searching for cover for the US games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
There were fears the team would face rising costs and exclusions when it renewed its annual policy as a result of the US terrorist attacks.
But a spokesman said the association's long relationships with insurers had helped it secure cover without any major differences from previous years.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
