Ingham adds seven new products to online trading system

Ingham Underwriting has widened its product offering on iQuote, its online trading system.

iQuote, which has been trading for three years as a provider of SME liability business, is introducing seven new products: Tradesman 6, office combined, property owners, retailers, construction-all-risks, excess layer and larger contractors cover.

These will be provided in partnership with Brit Insurance, Liberty International Underwriters, Allianz and Ace.

John Mason, business development director at Ingham Underwriting, said: “iQuote has developed a reputation in the marketplace for providing quick and competitive liability quotations. I am confident our new underwriting partners will help ensure iQuote delivers the same values throughout our whole online portfolio.”

Tim Grant, distribution leader at Brit Insurance, which already works with Ingham and will be writing the majority of the new products, added: “We are pleased to extend our partnership with Ingham Underwriting through its iQuote proposition. Effective e-trading solutions enable high standards of customer service to be delivered cost effectively and we are pleased to be part of an initiative that helps independent brokers in this way. The number of brokers actively using iQuote is a testament to its quality and we believe this proposition will go from strength to strength.”
