The industry was shaken by the tragic news this week of the death of Keely Donovan, assistant fine art underwriter at Ascot Underwriting.
Donovan, 22, had spent her working life in insurance and joined Ascot Underwriting in August 2002.
Her colleagues in Ascot's fine art division said: "During her time at Ascot, Keely quickly established herself as an invaluable member of the underwriting team. She was an exemplary employee, very hard working and popular with all the team at Ascot. Everyone is shocked at what has happened and we miss Keely dreadfully."
Ascot Underwriting chief executive Martin Reith said: "Our thoughts and prayers are with Keely's family. We are devastated by the news. She will always be remembered as a friend and colleague."
